As we enter the holiday season, many people will be looking for a few things that they may have trouble finding. Luckily, this list of 10 items has been created to help you out. Remember these tips and tricks before heading out into stores or searching online!
The “supply shortages 2021” is a problem that has been present for a while. It is predicted that there will be an abundance of products in the market, but many people may find it difficult to find what they want.
There are plenty of cautions regarding shortages this Christmas season in 2021. Because multiple sections in the supply chain have been compromised, CEOs are advising people to purchase early for Christmas and the winter holidays — the earlier the better, it is stated, to prevent being locked out of anything from technology to turkey. But what should you be on the alert for in particular?
Here’s a rundown of ten items and categories that are claimed to be suffering from local labor shortages, offshore production slowdowns, and other factors. All of these goods are likely to be tough to remove off your present lists and into wrapped boxes for loved ones. (And, yeah, it was another cautionary note.)

This is more of a reminder than a warning: Sony’s PlayStation 5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X are both hard to come by. Still. And it will most likely continue for months, if not years, until 2023. (File under: Microchip shortage division, supply chain concerns.)
If you’re desperate to get your hands on one before 2021, there’s always eBay, where the PS5 and Xbox systems are selling for about $1,000 apiece, a 100 percent markup over their respective $500 retail costs.
StockX, a third-party marketplace, is a preferable choice, as we have suggested. An certified Xbox X Series system was available for $719 at the time of publishing, while a similarly authenticated PS5 was available for $740.
You may also use the button below to see whether the PS5 is in stock on Amazon.

Will you be able to discover toys to purchase this year for Christmas? Yes, without a doubt, unless something awful happens. Will you be able to locate the item that is at the top of your child’s Christmas wish list? Perhaps, but perhaps not. Teddy Ruxpin isn’t the first to have a hot-ticket toy become limited on store shelves.
Of course, in 2021, there will be too many cargo ships delayed in ports – and too few accessible shipping containers, causing supply chain challenges. Some of the toy world’s larger-sized goods, according to the CEO of the business behind the L.O.L. Surprise brand, may struggle to reach retailers and warehouses.
Issac Larian told CNBC, “The [L.O.L. Surprise O.M.G. home] – that item is over $200, and it’s massive.” “A container can only hold 150 to 200 people.” You can’t ship it by air.”
The good news is that, at the time of writing, the L.O.L. Surprise OMG House of Surprises was available for $230 on Amazon. Moreover, practically every item on our list of Amazon’s best Christmas toys for 2021, including the L.O.L. Surprise O.M.G. Movie Magic Studios playset, was in stock at the time of writing.

COLUMBIA THROUGH KOHL’S
The doomsday predictions are vague in this case: Nike, for example, claims that its items are taking twice as long to arrive in North America, but it doesn’t specify which sneakers, if any, would be in short supply. (As of last check, if you were a men’s size 12 or higher hunting for a new pair of Nike’s best-selling Air Max 90 Premium sneakers for $130, things weren’t looking good.)
A major source of worry in this sector is that prominent brands such as Nike, Columbia, and Lululemon rely on their Vietnamese manufacturing running smoothly – yet their Vietnamese plants are experiencing epidemic shutdowns.
To check what’s in stock, simply browse around and click around, just like with toys. For example, the athletic goods from our complete Black Friday preview list, such as the women’s Columbia Benton Springs zip-front fleece jacket from Kohl’s, were all available at the time of publishing. (Hey, the Nike Air Max 90 Premium was also available in select sizes.)

After reading this, you may need a hard drink, but the supply chain scenario has not been kind to a business that mainly depends on foreign drinks.
According to CBS Dallas/Fort Worth, the Distilled Spirits Council’s David Ozgo said, “Clearly, there is a lack of containers right now.” “On cargo ships, space is quite limited.”
But hold off on breaking the glass on the emergency alarm: Did you go to the grocery store tonight? Was there any beer on hand? Perhaps a bottle or two of a great California red? Yes? So, you’re fine — everything is fine. Unless, of course…

Are you thinking of giving someone the unique (and imported) Chinese liquor Kweichow Moutai as a gift? Then, as you can see from Total Wine & More, availability may be scarce. A gift card — maybe to a company like Total Wine & More — is one potential solution, according to another of our gift recommendations.

According to reports from September, Apple will have to reduce manufacturing of its new iPhone 13s by more than 10% until the end of the year due to the Great Chip Shortage of 2021. Fortunately, 90 million iPhones minus 10% is still a lot, so a new iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Mini was available from Apple and other stores as of publishing. The iPhone 13 with 128GB of minimum storage was available for $799, while the iPhone 13 Mini (with a 5.4-inch display screen) was available for $699.

Christmas trees that are not real

Christmas trees have always been subject to supply chain fluctuations. Prices for fresh-cut trees, for example, increased in 2018 and 2019 owing to a decrease in the number of farmers (and a reduced number of trees, natch). Prices soared again in 2020, as pandemic-weary people bought everything that could be carried into their houses.
Fans of artificial trees are feeling the pinch in the early Christmas season this year. According to a CNN article, the generally imported product’s price might rise by as much as 25% by 2020 — “assuming you’re fortunate enough to still get one by Thanksgiving.” For what it’s worth, we got fortunate when we checked the Walmart website! Best Choice Products’ flocked tree with 250 lights was among the top-selling artificial trees we discovered in stock. The 6-foot variant of the Best Choice Products tree cost at $160.

WALMART’S HOLIDAY TIME
The twinkly strings are predicted to be in limited supply again a year after customers hoovered up Christmas lights (in order to adorn all of the trees they ordered). (Since Christmas lights are mostly manufactured and imported from Asia, there are supply chain difficulties.) On the plus side, most of the top-selling Christmas lights on Walmart’s website were still available at the time of writing. For example, a 59-foot-long string of 300 multi-colored LED mini-lights from Holiday Time was available for $17. For additional ideas, see our list of Christmas decorating offers.

STEAKS FROM OMAHA
Turkeys may be difficult to come by for Thanksgiving dinner, according to rumors. (Farmers are having trouble finding turkey-wrangling farm laborers, according to a CBS Chicago investigation.) If you’re the kind who likes to plan ahead, you may book a bird via a subscription meal service: For $170 (or $17 per person), Hello Fresh was providing a Turkey & Sides package that could feed up to 10 people and included a roast turkey, ciabatta stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and more.
At the time of writing, Omaha Steaks was offering an 8-pound smoked whole turkey for $90 if purchased with other items and delivered to your home. (If the bird had been bought individually, it would have cost $180.) The firm also provided whole Thanksgiving dinners.

The American Booksellers Association urged bookstores to stock up on titles projected to be popular during the Christmas shopping season in August. Is it possible that everyone received the memo? Physical copies of all of Amazon’s Top 10 best-selling books for 2021, including Kristin Hannah’s new smash novel “The Four Winds,” were available as of publishing. (And what’s the greatest part about books? E-book versions are often available even after hardback and paperback editions are sold out.)

AMAZON / MICHAEL KORS
Storm clouds are forming over more than just clothes, according to reports. It’s all kinds of clothing. According to CBS News, Nordstrom CEO Erik Nordstrom told investors, “It’s been tough to forecast inventory movement with great accuracy.” “We don’t see those circumstances changing very soon.”
If you’re reading this while dressed, don’t worry: you’ve already acquired some!
However, if you’re shopping for threads from names like Michael Kors that are caught up in the Vietnam factory-shutdown maelstrom, you could run into some issues. On Amazon, we discovered that at least a number of Michael Kors gowns had restricted size possibilities. But we did find the hooded, three-quarter-length, chocolate-brown down puffer coat by Michael Kors in stock and in a variety of sizes.
