The Badgers and the Spartans had a hilarious Week 9 that we can’t help but love. These two teams have been making fools of each other for years, so it’s always good to see them go at it one more time. We also saw Baylor take down Michigan State in an epic comeback win over the favored Wolverines. Join us as we look back on these three great games!

The Big Ten conference has a rich history of trolling its opponents. It’s tough to see the recent losses by Michigan State, Wisconsin and Baylor as anything but a testament to this tradition.

Week 9 of college football was held on Halloween weekend, so there were plenty of tricks and treats.

The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs maintained their unblemished record by thrashing the Florida Gators. No. 8 Michigan State kept its perfect record intact by upsetting No. 6 Michigan, thanks to an outstanding effort by Kenneth Walker III.

Mike Leach, Mississippi State’s head coach and Halloween candy specialist, nevertheless despises candy corn.

Beware: This week’s top trolls may come back to bother you, depending on who you were pulling for.

Michigan’s defense has only allowed three rushing touchdowns all season before the game.

Walker ran for five touchdowns for Michigan State, ensuring that the Paul Bunyan trophy remains in East Lansing, Michigan, following the Spartans’ victory.

“Overall, I don’t think it’s a Heisman moment,” Michigan State’s standout running back remarked, “but I think it was just a fantastic team victory.”

Despite his modesty, following the game, social media was flooded with admiration.

Taylor Lewan, a current Tennessee Titans offensive lineman and a former Michigan offensive lineman, did not exhibit the same trait. Lewan was all-in on his Wolverines, but after the defeat, the Spartans provided some advise through Twitter.

With a dominating win against the Hawkeyes, the Badgers strolled to victory. After upsetting then-No. 25 Purdue last week, it’s the Badgers’ second consecutive victory over a ranked opponent.

Naturally, Badgers social media delivered the Big Ten West a Halloween-themed greeting.

Miami has a history of sabotaging ranked teams’ chances. The Hurricanes have now defeated ranked league opponents in back-to-back weeks after defeating No. 18 NC State last week.

Miami’s social media crew made certain that everyone was informed.

Another highly regarded squad came up short. In Mississippi State’s triumph at home, Will Rogers broke Dak Prescott’s single-season completion record and established a Southeastern Conference record for completion %.

Simply simply, the Bulldogs were aware of their duty and couldn’t help but grin.
